Hi, I’m Gareth Lloyd. I’ve built and led businesses across 18 countries in industries ranging from consumer goods and recruitment to agriculture and commodities. From co-founding Amoria Group, a $200 million revenue consulting & recruitment business, to White Lion Foods, a global agri-tech group, my journey has been anything but conventional. Now, I’m the CEO and co-founder of Truly Nuts! The first consumer brand to own the entire journey of a Brazil nut, from the floor of the Amazon rainforest to your hands. How did I end up here? It all started when I was 16, DJ-ing with my friends (a number of who became my business partners). At the time, we were just doing it for fun. What I didn’t realise was that DJ-ing is basically running a business - you have to hustle for gigs, promote events, and sell yourself. That’s where I first started leading. That passion eventually took us to touring as DJs in South America, where we had a lightbulb moment: There were incredible products (like the Brazil nut) that weren’t getting the recognition they deserved globally. We decided to change that. So, in 2012 we launched White Lion Foods, and 2023, we started work on Truly Nuts, the world’s first savoury-flavoured Brazil nut snacks across the UK, Asia, and soon, the US. Our mission is simple: ✅ Make humanity healthier ✅ Create wealth for the communities we serve ✅ Leave the planet in better shape than we found it We’re committed to: 🌱 Donating 25% of our profits to environmental causes 🥜 Bringing a healthier (sweet and savoury) snacking alternative to the market 🌍 Positively disrupting the norm while giving back to the Amazon region For me, business has never just been about making money. It’s about solving real problems, creating opportunities, and having fun along the way. I’ve always been drawn to building things from the ground up, taking on challenges, and finding creative ways to make an impact.
