My journey in Human Resource Management (HRM) began randomly, not by choice or with a childhood dream. After my studies, while searching for a job, I came across with an opportunity as an HR intern at Skyweb. The experience over there shifted my interest towards HRM, driven by my fascination with understanding people's behaviors and attitudes—a continuous learning process that often simplifies my job. Reflecting on my professional path, spanning over 24 years, I've embraced a diverse blend of corporate HRM and HR advisory services. Having relocated from Delhi to Chandigarh in September 2018, I conducted a self-survey to assess the HR landscape at the senior level in the region. I identified a significant gap in not having senior HR with credible experience in the team, there may be several reasons but a few i could clearly figure out such as experienced HR professionals might pose a substantial fixed cost burden or HR was perceived merely as an operational role. This realisation inspired me to offer my expertise for short-term and long-term HR assignments to organisations seeking specialized HRM guidance. With confidence in my accumulated domain expertise, I decided to leverage it for self-satisfaction, providing affordable HR services to startups and growing organisations, initially focusing on consulting assignments. Over the past six years, I have been actively engaged in short- and long-term projects with startups and growing organisations in the IT/ITEs Industry.
