Pooja Baraskar — CEO
As a global leader in Developer Relations (DevRel), I drive developer programs at Intel, spearheading strategic initiatives that spark innovation, empower developers, and nurture vibrant tech communities worldwide. With over a decade of experience, I bring a unique blend of deep technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and big-picture vision. I started programming at age 9- building websites, apps, and games, which ignited a lifelong passion. My expertise spans software, hardware, sensors, IoT, and AI, making me a rapid prototyping specialist, I thrive on turning ideas into functional solutions quickly and effectively. That’s my superpower! In 2015, I was honored to present Microsoft’s first-ever IoT demo in India, showcasing cutting-edge predictive agriculture powered by real-time sensor data and Azure cloud. This project gained international recognition, including a feature in Motherboard (VICE), for advancing smart farming. At KONE, the world’s top elevator company and Finland’s largest corporation, I led innovation in elevator R&D by inventing new systems for Modernization Overlays. I also designed human-centric experiences like circadian rhythm–based lighting systems. If you’ve been to ITC Grand Chola, you’ve likely experienced my elevator lighting firsthand, designed to enhance wellbeing and productivity. I co-founded a startup selected in the Top 50 of the Govt of India’s Digital India Challenge and mentored at IIM Ahmedabad. I’ve led hands-on AI workshops globally for Intel’s top 50 accounts, introducing multilingual sessions via interpreter radios to make learning inclusive and accessible, enabling participants to learn comfortably in the language they prefer. I’m also the author of two technical books, and my OpenVINO Digital Courseware for Educators is used by university faculties worldwide and has been adopted into academic curricula. Recognized twice as a Top Software Innovator by Intel and a three-time Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP), I’m passionate about mentoring, speaking, and leading initiatives that drive excellence in technology. With multiple international hackathon wins, I thrive on creative problem-solving, collaboration, and rapid innovation. Outside of work, I’m a traveler, cook, and martial artist. Let’s connect if you’re building tech, communities, or both!
