• Under the guidance of Dr. Krishna Kumar, Director Maruti Centre for Excellence, I came up with benchmarking figures and established best practices for the Tier - 1 vendors of Maruti. This project involved studying about the Maruti Production System (MPS) and the existing practices of the vendors and suggesting improvements. My learning was not restricted to the project and included Vendor Visits to Sona Koyo, Subros Ltd., KML, JBML, Bundy India Ltd. and Lakhani Rubbers, Maruti Plant visit and trainings conducted on ISO 14001:2004 and Disaster Management.

During this fully funded internship, I also learnt and gained expertise in concepts of quantitative techniques and simulation.
