As a leader in operations and corporate partnerships, my journey began at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, where I established a robust engineering foundation. My career trajectory took me to Schlumberger as a Senior Field Engineer, where I honed my technical and operational skills. I then led operations at Quikr for the Managed Homes Vertical, driving growth and efficiency. My entrepreneurial spirit flourished during my tenure as an Entrepreneur in Residence at WheelsEye, where I collaborated with innovative teams to scale logistics solutions. At Masai, I spearhead initiatives like Empower Her, which provides full scholarships to women entering the tech sector, fostering gender diversity and empowering future female leaders. Our programs, breaking traditional barriers, have achieved a placement rate exceeding 90%, underscoring the success of our outcome-based approach. Looking to the future, my mission is to transform operational excellence across industries to meet the dynamic demands of the global market. Inspired by Nelson Mandela's belief in transformative change, I am committed to building systems that deliver real-world, outcome-driven solutions. On June 10th, we celebrated Masai’s 6th anniversary — a milestone that felt truly special.
This past year, we achieved strong growth, turned profitable, and consistently performed at a high level. But beyond the numbers, it’s the journey that made it memorable.
The last two years tested us. Tech hiring slowed, layoffs surged, and the AI wave rewrote the rules. As a Pay-after-Placement institution, our outcomes are everything. We had to rethink our strategy, adapt fast, and execute with precision — all while staying true to our mission.
What made it possible?
The team. A group of incredibly talented people, driven by purpose and aligned in building a truly outcome-driven higher education model for India’s youth.
My personal journey at Masai has spanned 4.5 years. It’s been tough, fulfilling, and full of learning.
Building and scaling a Pay-after-Placement model is no easy feat — many have tried, most pivoted. It takes deep curriculum innovation, market sensitivity, and relentless execution.
As Head of Operations, I’ve had to solve daily fires while building long-term systems — and I’ve loved every bit of it. Because every challenge we overcame had a direct impact on a student’s life.
And that impact — a job, a grateful message, a changed family narrative — reminded us why we started.
At our anniversary celebration, I was deeply humbled to be promoted as Co-founder & COO of Masai School. I’m incredibly thankful to Prateek Shukla, Yogesh Bhat, and Nrupul Dev for their trust and belief in me.
