About

I am a passionate designer + researcher with the urge to learn and explore more. While observing and analyzing the behaviours of people around me, I collaboratively work towards enhancing those experiences through creative and innovative design solutions. I pursued Ph.D. from IDC School of Design, IIT Bombay and gained my expertise in User Experience (UX) Research and Design, Augmented/Virtual Reality (AR/VR) Design, HCI, and Educational Technology. In the industry, I tend to use my expertise of working with cross-functional teams and identifying the potential experiences for users and business benefits of a product. To attain the same, I am dedicated towards communicating with the users, identifying their journey and pain points, and bringing out the seamless experience in the design. My design and research work can be viewed at https://pratitisarkar.github.io/ I have previously been invited as panelist at IIT Bombay and IIT Jodhpur. I have also delivered talks at the FEVAR lab at Arizona State University, and have conducted workshops at International conferences such as ISMAR 2020 and IndiaHCI 2020. I am open to conducting workshops or delivering talks related to UX/XR design and research.
