I currently lead all functions of Marketing at Thoughtworks (TWKS) for India. My key responsibilities include scaling up ABM initiatives, elevating thought leadership, conceptualise and drive key strategic initiatives and build a world class team. One of the other key area of my focus in to reinforce our strong employer brand and help attract the the best talent to TW. In my previous role as Senior Director, Dell-EMC Alliance at VMware India, I led the Synergy initiative and grew the business 7X in a span of 3 years. My key result areas were to drive incremental business for VMware by attaching the virtualization and cloud product portfolio with Dell Technologies. I made it to the President’s Club two years in a row. In my role as the Director of Marketing, I lead all efforts for VMware in India and the SAARC region. I was responsible for Brand Strategy & Execution, Communication, Digital Demand Generation, Press and Analyst relations, Omni Channel and Partner Marketing. My focus was to create mind share for all VMware technologies and solutions for the Software Defined Enterprise and the Hybrid and Multi Cloud offerings. I was a key member of the VMware India Leadership Team. Before joining VMware, I was the Director Trade Marketing at LinkedIn India. My focus there was to create monetization opportunities for the professional networking platform. Prior to that, I have held leadership positions at Sun Microsystems, Tech Mahindra and Reliance Infocomm. I have more than 25+ years of well-rounded marketing experience with exposure to a wide range of market categories and segments. I am an alumnus of MIT Sloan School of Management; where I pursued an advanced course in General Management, Leadership, Strategy and Innovation. I have a PDGM (MBA) from XIM Bhubaneswar (a Top 10 B-School) and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics with Hons & Distinction. I am a regular speaker at Industry Forums. I have spoken on the TEDx platform. I was conferred the CMO of the year in the year 2012 and 2016 by media houses of repute and was honored as one of the ‘Most Influential Marketers’ by the World Marketing Congress in 2015. I am passionate about education for the underprivileged.
