About

A medical aspirant turned engineer who has metamorphosed into a venturesome advertiser. Today, everyone wants to talk about programmatic, data, etc but no-one wants to talk culture. One can only optimize advertising when there is an idea to optimize. Culture is the root of everything. We sell products to the world. Products are not sold through mediums, they’re sold through ideas. Ideas come from culture. KK is the embodiment of this school of thought as he discovered this very early and is on his way to spreading it everywhere. Beginning his career with experiential marketing, he has traveled the stretch of this country for over 1200 days in the initial 5 years and touched a billion lives working on over 40 different brands across categories. Currently, he leads Ogilvy’s newfound arm - experiential and branded content. Author of the non-fiction novel ‘The Exclamator’, KK was recently listed in the Forbes 30 Under 30 (India 2020) and at both Impact Magazine & Social Samosa’s ‘Top 30 advertisers in India under 30 - (2015, 2019). One of the Worldwide Cannes Lions Youngstar (2015), he’s led ‘Ogilvy at Kumbh - 2019’ consortium with campaigns for Red Label, USLP, Bajaj, Hammam, ICICI, CEAT, Ponds and most recently ‘5 Star Escape Valentine’s Day’, Coke 'Happy to Queue Bottle’, ‘Vi Dabbwala’ and ‘Titan Eye Test Menu for Truckers’ amongst many others. He also led “Project Static” – the largest rural outdoor initiative in India touching over 100 million incremental rural population across 2 lac villages for 11 different brands. He was part of initiatives that include Caterpillar Global team’s aspiring program aimed at empowering women in media dark parts of India, HUL’s – ‘Swachchta Doot’ Initiative aimed at taking cleanliness across millions in the rural hinterlands and in designing, creating a content ecosystem for HUL’s recent brand launch at Lakme Fashion week 2019 - ‘Love & Care’. The only con is his complete lack of punctuality when he has to meet someone, outside of work. When not working, he’d be out with his camera documenting a real life story!
