About

With over 45 years of leadership experience across major global automotive companies, my career has spanned automotive technology development, product strategy, application engineering, marketing, after-sales operations and international technology transfer. I have worked extensively on integrating new technologies into existing platforms, managing cross-functional technical teams and establishing India-based engineering capabilities for global OEMs. As the mobility landscape shifts toward electrification, my work now focuses on extending EV technology beyond urban passenger vehicles to the wider and increasingly important segments of rural mobility, off-highway platforms and non-automotive equipment, where the practical challenges and opportunities are significantly different from mainstream automotive EV programs. I am the Founder and Managing Director of Pixy Electric, a company developing advanced Electric Drive System (EDS) solutions for both automotive and non-automotive applications. Our products support OEM development programs as well as retrofitment needs for vehicles and equipment operating in demanding real-world environments — including SUVs, LCVs, tractors, marine systems, ATVs, utility vehicles and specialised machinery. My experience across application engineering, technology transfer and marketing enables me to approach electrification not only as a technical transformation, but also as a product, market and adoption strategy. I continue to collaborate with OEMs and emerging EV companies as a consultant in areas such as: EV product strategy and platform adaptation Technology transfer and localisation for new EV programs Integration of advanced electric drive systems into existing vehicle/equipment architectures Market development for electrification in rural, utility and off-highway segments Commercialisation and go-to-market strategies for emerging EV technologies I remain committed to helping manufacturers navigate the transition to electric mobility in a manner that is practical, scalable and aligned with real-world user needs across both automotive and non-automotive domains. If your organisation is exploring electric drive technologies, OEM collaborations or EV market development opportunities, I would be happy to connect
