Acrobat Solutions is a $700 million business for Adobe and I handled a substantial part of the entire Acrobat Engineering organization in India. Led the engineering on all Mobile platform efforts for the Acrobat organization. I also lead the Engineering for the SaaS Integration and Collaboration business for the group.
During my tenure, the Adobe Reader on Mobile devices was the #1 application in its category on Mobile application stores, and had grossed an active user base of more than 80 million in around a year with a recurring daily active user addition of 123K. Our SaaS integration work in the Adobe Reader had a significant impact (70% – 85%) in generating more traffic and the total revenue for the Acrobat Solution Services.
As part of my responsibilities in the Flash Runtimes group at Adobe, I led the entire Mobile charter for the Flash Runtimes for Adobe. As a part of the Adobe AIR initiative, worked with some of the pioneers in the Gaming vertical – Disney, Zynga, Good Games Studio, BBC and others.
The Adobe Runtime went on to drive more than 100,000+ Apps in the iOS and Android ecosystem. We had more than 2.5 Billion App Installations and achieved a mind boggling 7.5 Million App Installations on a daily basis.
