Some of equipment – LOCALIZER is used give the middle line on the runway to aircraft, DVOR(Doppler VHF OmniRange) used to give distance of aircraft from airport, GLIDE PATH it provides 3 degree plane cutting to runway to aircraft, NDB (NonDirectional Beacon) it is used earlier than DVOR to give information to aircraft about airport where it is located etc. ILS uses three equipments (Localizer, DVOR, Glide Path) for automatic landings.
