Dr Avinash (Nash) Palaniswamy is the Chief Commercial Officer of Quantinuum Inc and is responsible for leading sales, marketing, and business management and delivering revenue for the company. Previously, Nash was the Vice-President and General Manager of Global AI and HPC and Graphics Sales and Solutions at Intel Corporation – Nash was accountable for delivering Intel’s overall HPC and Graphics revenue for the Accelerated Computing and Graphics Group – AXG, and AI revenue for the Datacenter and AI Group – DCAI. Nash was the leader of a 500+ person direct and matrix’d team responsible for winning Intel AI, HPC, and Client and Datacenter Graphics processing solutions. Previously at Intel, he was Strategic Lead for Intel® QuickAssist Technology-based accelerators for servers, led the Throughput-Computing Task Force which ushered the creation of a heterogenous product roadmap, co-led the creation of the Early Ship Program for HPC and Cloud, co-led strategy for PCIe Gen3 and licensing of FSB and QPI to FPGA vendors, and represented Intel as Lead for the WWW Consortium Advisory Committee. Prior to Intel, Nash held senior and executive roles, including Senior Director of System Architecture at Conformative Systems, CTO / VP of Engineering at MSU Devices, and Director of Java Program Office and Wireless Software Strategy in the Digital Experience Group of Motorola, Inc. Notably, he also developed a virtual prototyping EDA SW (i.e., SimEZ) tool at Motorola which was sold to Cadence. Nash is also an advisor for a couple of AI startups – infinStor and a stealth startup, and mentors several folks helping them in their professional journey. Nash holds 3 patents, numerous technical publications, was honored with a Top Intel Achievement Award for his contribution to the #1 system in the Top 500 list. Additionally, HPCWire Named Nash 2021 People to Watch. He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. from the University of Cincinnati in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a B.S. in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Anna University (India).
