• PM for Windows Photo App Video Editor. Lead the initiative for three key features within the app: Automatically Generated Movies(AGM), Quick Edits and Music/Audio of the Video Editor. I identified areas of overlap and orchestrated the merging of all three of these independent features into our video editor.
• Within AGM and Quick Edits, I was able to ideate and drive a key feature: Choose A Star (link below) which allows for a user to pick a star from a collection of pictures and videos and automatically creates a movie featuring that “star”. My work resulted in a 20% increase in interaction within Quick Edits as well as 7.5 % increase in the time people spent in the Video Editor itself.
• For Music/Audio, I helped ship a feature (Sync-to-Beat) which leveraged machine learning to create a mapping of musical tones to facial expressions within the video in real-time. In addition, I worked closely with my designers to flush out the full user-experience of music altogether within Video Editor.

• Researched to build a class involving the Studies of Computational Thinking Pedagogy. By understanding human behavior and drawing on the concepts fundamental to computer science, we were able to build a curriculum and product to teach Computer Science to the novice learners.

• As Vice President, I helped set up a regional conference for all major engineering schools in the North Atlantic Region. With a total of 200 attendees, this conference was voted to be the best leadership conference in the nation.
• The conference was spun off of a conference that I was the chair of prior to this year: Leadership in Engineering Conference (LEC) at Virginia Tech. I increased the attendance rate of the conference from 60 to 220. Extending an invitation to 5 major companies to attend the conference, I changed the structure of the conference all together.

• Founded an organization that combines the art of Public Speaking and Computer Science to motivate students to produce innovative ideas and bring them to life. I did this by gathering a team to judge speeches, record sessions, event plan, and produce innovative ideas.
• I experimented effective teaching by splitting class sizes by academic year (1st - 3rd grade), (4th - 5th), (6th - 8th), and (9th-10th) and by limited the number of students to 10 students a year totalling 83 students all together. The student's work was presented in two events with over 200 attendees from around the county.
• Currently we are working on growing Loudoun Leaders to be a learning center and incubation for Middle and High schoolers.
