Sevdah is a range of classic designs, an outcome of our love for timeless styling. The clean, classy and colourful designs are a natural fit to structured and for everyday style. We wear sandals every day, perfect for Indian summers. But we feel there has been barely any change in our sandals over time. It’s almost like we have taken sandals for granted. Sevdah is an effort to find balance in the design, colours and simple beauty of sandals. So, here is our story: Back in September of 2015, I landed in Delhi for a Crafting luxury and Lifestyle Business project looking for someone to make samples for me. After a few meetings with a teacher at FDDI, I met Tarun, co-founder of Sevdah. Hours of dedicated hard work by both of us led to Kashi-Ka, a melting pot of silk and leather in-to my first collection. I was awarded the best project award at IIM-A and paved the way to Sevdah. A year of conversations and ideas started Sevdah. The journey to turn our ideas into reality had been a pretty bumpy but fun adventure so far. – NEHA
