Renify technologies private limited

Founder & CEO

Sep 2019Aug 2025 · 5 yrs 11 mos · Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

  • Renify Technologies was born from my journey as a BIRAC SIIP Fellow, where I identified the critical problem of 14 lakh preventable deaths in India every year due to hospital-acquired Acute Kidney Injury (AKI). From concept to commercialization, I have led Renify’s growth into a medtech startup developing Renify (real-time urine output monitoring system) and AKICare (renal function monitoring system), taking them from early ideation to clinically validated products.
  • Key Achievements & Milestones:
  • Secured highly competitive national & global innovation grants (success rate <5%) through multi-stage evaluations by experts, clinicians, and industry leaders.
  • BIRAC SIIP Fellowship – 18 months of clinical immersion to identify and validate unmet medical needs.
  • BIRAC BIG Grant – For early-stage prototyping and validation.
  • Pfizer IIT Delhi Innovation Program – For advanced development and commercialization strategy.
  • Grand Challenges India (Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation & IKP) – Global recognition for AKICare.
  • Elevate Karnataka – State award for medtech innovation excellence.
  • CCMB TIDE 2.0 Scheme – For AI-based modelling and software refinement.
  • NBEC 2020 Winner – Pfizer award for healthcare innovation.
  • Social Alpha Accelerator Program – Mentored by top startup ecosystem experts.
  • Raised investments from C-CAMP under NIDHI-SSS, AIM Seed Fund, and BITS BioCyTiH Foundation.
  • BIRAC SIBRI – For Design for Manufacturing (DFM) finalisation, clinical trials, and pilot batch manufacturing.
  • Leadership & Impact:
  • Led a multidisciplinary team of designers, engineers, and clinicians to create affordable, high-impact healthcare solutions.
  • Navigated India’s most competitive funding programs, proving my ability to innovate, execute, and build partnerships.
  • Took Renify from a problem identified in a hospital ward to a market-ready product with potential to save millions of lives.
