Am research officer in a Foundation that has as its main goal the revitalisation of Muslim theology and the reintroduction of 'God-talk' to the everyday lives and experiences of Muslim believers. Author of numerous books and articles, designer and provider of theology workshops for Muslim teachers and educationalists. Convenor of university-level modules degined to be distance taught.   • I teach three undergraduate courses: a Level One module entitled 'Introduction to Islam and the Muslim World'; a Level Two module with the title 'Islam, State and Government'; and a Level Three module which goes under the name of 'Islam and Politics in the Modern World'. These courses are all electives.
  • Teaching takes up only a third of my contractual remit. When not teaching I undertake research. My research interests span theology, the history of ideas and the anthropology of religion.
  • I also serve as undergraduate Admissions Officer, when time allows! I am also departmental Marketing Lead.
