I am a developer advocate at MathWorks, working with the community to accelerate the pace of technical computing. Prior to joining MathWorks I was was one the first wave of Research Software Engineers in academia. At the University of Sheffield, I was co-founder of one of the first academic Research Software Engineering groups in the UK and have over 25 years experience in the fields of research computing and HPC.
