For over 17 years, I have been leading SAFA, a non-governmental organization that aims to empower women from marginalized communities to lead lives of respect and self-worth. As the CEO and founder, I am responsible for the strategic planning, communications, networking, and marketing of our initiatives in livelihoods, education, and capacity building. I am passionate about social innovation and creating sustainable solutions that address the root causes of poverty and inequality. I have successfully launched and scaled up several projects that provide income generation, skill development, and education opportunities for young drop-out girls and women. I have also received multiple awards and recognition for my work, such as the Manava Seva Dharma Samvardhani Fellowship, the e-NGO Challenge Award, and the Pride of Telangana.
