• The Tata Trusts have in the past several years developed a comprehensive agriculture program in 18 states across the country. This program works on agriculture production as well as on farmer institutions development and agriculture produce marketing. In order to connect the dots, while linking Producers and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPO) to the markets, Trusts now plan to develop a Centre for excellence in Agriculture Marketing and Development (CEAD).
• Responsibilities
• 1. To take charge of the CEAD programme which involves the development of a CEAD campus, as well as putting in place a network of production clusters across the country which would be managed by the CEAD institution.
• 2. To lead in the development of agri-business projects around identified FPO clusters linking Producers/ FPOs to market players
• 3. To lead the development of key services to be provided under the CEAD
• 4. To play a key role in infrastructure development of CEAD
• 5. To put in place a core Team of the CEAD - development and management
• 6. Budget/ accounts management of the program
• 7. Stakeholder management particularly with other donor agencies, CSR units, consulting agencies, consultants, FPO partners etc.

• Innovations Department:
• Considered to be a very challenging atmosphere, the Innovations team has been able to identify and conduct trial for number of products.
• Major Achievement: Seed-multiplication for Paddy Seeds.
• 1. Currently the project runs at 20 acres of land, with an objective to increase the area next year.
• 2. Running Sesame trial during monsoon season of 2017.
• Other Trials: Other trials being considered includes uber model for tractor rental (first in the country), and introducing high variety seeds for blackgram.
• Monitoring and Evaluation Department:
• The department carries out impact study and other informational surveys as required by the country program.
• Major Achievement:
• 1. From the beginning, used tablets to collect data (never having used paper surveys).
• 2. Collected information from 50% of our trial farmers to calculate impact for our Paddy program.

• Was part of a team, implementing a knowledge transfer project, funded by USAID. The project included transfer of frugal Indian Innovations in agriculture and natural resource management to Kenya and Malawi.
• It was a USAID funded project under their Feed The Future (FtF) program.
• I was in charge of Project Management in Malawi.
• Tasks and Responsibilities included
• 1. Relationship Management - Manage relationships with existing partners in Malawi (Catholic Relief Services and CADECOM) and India (GRAVIS)
• 2. Relationship Building - Build relationships with other INGOs, Government Officers, Individuals.
• 3. Program Implementation - Implement the program tasks as listed by Indian Knowledge Partners. Oversee achievement.
• 4. Reporting - Prepare various funder and internal reports. Prepare project documents for new products.
• Achievements.
• 1. Solely responsible for completing more than 90% of the requisite tasks.
• 2. Created a good reputation for the project, by reaching out to different stakeholders, and other interested organizations.
• 3. Conducted site visits, attended by officials from more than 10 organizations and funding agencies.

• I was deputed to Livelihood BASIX Inc. (LBI), a 501 C 3 Livelihood Promotion Non-Profit Corporation, set up at Ithaca, New York.
• We were implementing Livelihood Enhancement Program funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) in Tanzania and Mozambique viz., AFRICAN LIVELIHOODs PARTNERSHIP (ALPs), with interventions focusing on agriculture value chains, skill building and financial inclusion centered around youth and women.
• 1. Smallholder farmers;
• 2. Women as smallholders and micro-entrepreneurs; and
• 3. Youth – aspiring but jobless, seeking employment.
• Tasks and Responsibilities.

• 1. Visited Tanzania to scout for projects. The project location was in Mwanza. Defined project details and had to decide whether to accept the project or not.

• 1. Was based in Mozambique to help a microbank grow in size.

• 1. Made business plan and implementation plan for a value chain financing project in Tanzania. Started the project with local partners, and handed it over to other resource, so that I could move to Mozambique.

Furthermore, I played a role in the implementation of the process mapping handbook for their microinsurance operations, in collaboration with the Micro Insurance Centre in Switzerland

• I collaborated with Parishkaar Advisory Services on a project based in Nigeria. I was assigned to work closely with AdanaMamaki Nigeria Pvt Ltd, where I had the opportunity to work directly alongside the local company's CEO.
• My primary responsibilities included conducting training sessions for microfinance banks in Nigeria. These training sessions covered various topics, including process mapping and risk management.
• In addition to training, I offered consulting services to the senior management teams of these banks.
• During my tenure with Parishkaar and AdanaMamaki, I organized two study trips for Nigerian delegates to visit India and Bangladesh to gain valuable insights and knowledge.
