About

6 Things: 1) I’m on a journey with Matt Huang to build a $10M podcast (Connection Accepted). On CA, we interview mostly LinkedIn creators to learn about how they post, why they post, and what advice they wish they had when they joined the platform. Our mission is to create content we wish we knew when we joined LinkedIn. Listen to the latest Connection Accepted episode at https://www.youtube.com/@ConnectionAccepted or on Spotify/Apple podcasts. 2) I love to tell cool stories that teach people something worth learning in as few words as possible. 3) My content philosophy is simple: Post as much as you can. Fail fast. Learn faster. One viral post pays for 50 flops. 4) My niche is posting about making content on LinkedIn. Yeah, it is meta. But if I can get 10,000 users for a startup via LinkedIn and gain 10,000 followers in 3 months, so can you. 5) The views expressed are my own and not those of my employer. 6) I'm not endorsed by LinkedIn but it is the next TikTok.

  • This summer, I worked directly with BBR’s VP of Brand & Business Development, helping brainstorm and explore new ways the company could generate revenue & optimize the existing business.
  • I learned from some very talented people, saw how big ideas come to life, and got my first real taste of the wealth management world.
  • But I also learned something just as valuable: while NYC has an energy like nowhere else, it’s not where I see myself living long term.
  • Grateful for the team, the lessons, and the chance to push myself in a new city.

Brown-forman

Investor Relations Summer Intern

May 2023Aug 2023 · 3 mos · Louisville, Kentucky, United States · On-site

  • This summer, I had a behind-the-scenes view of one of the most iconic names in spirits. Brown-Forman is home to brands like Jack Daniel’s and Woodford Reserve and is one of the biggest companies in my hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.
  • I learned the dynamics of a family-controlled, publicly traded company, how alcohol regulations work, and what it takes to prepare and release quarterly earnings. Seeing how a large public company operates gave me a new appreciation for the precision, coordination, and teamwork behind the scenes.
  • I’m especially thankful for the talented people I learned from and the perspective this experience gave me on both corporate life and my hometown’s most recognizable brand.

Director of Innovation Dojo Startup Accelerator

Sep 2021Jan 2024 · 2 yrs 4 mos · Providence, Rhode Island, United States

  • Innovation Dojo is a student-run, semester long startup accelerator. We hear from many guest speakers about pitching and entrepreneurship, and go through the process of starting and pitching your own venture.
  • My first semester of the program, I created and pitched a startup, Bash, with three other classmates, and won a $500 investment to buy the initial materials needed for Bash.
  • The following semester, I was selected to be a mentor in the program to select new students for the cohort, and guide them through the process of starting and pitching a venture.
  • I was the Director of the program, and duties include organizing workshops and securing industry leading guest speakers. I recruited new guest speakers for the program such as Dan Roth (VP and Editor in Chief of LinkedIn), Josh Silverman (CEO of Etsy), Jennifer Todd (SVP Celtics), Mayor Smiley (Mayor of Providence), and Chris Cocks (CEO Hasbro), to elevate the Dojo experience.

  • Viral LEDs started in my garage during Covid quarantine, and ended up being a Shark Tank finalist company. Within a year, without raising any money, we shipped over 10,000 of our patent pending LED strip invention to all 50 states and 51 countries.
  • Advertised these lights exclusively through social media, and mainly on tiktok, where we saw most of our sales growth. We had partnerships with Addison Re, Bryce Hall, Hype House, Noah Schnapp, and Harry Jowsey.
  • When my senior year of high school started, I negotiated a logistics contract with local logistics company HJI Supply Chain Solutions to assemble our LEDs locally in Louisville and ship them across the globe.
