About

I am the Founder of GO DESi, a packaged food brand with the mission of Making DESi POPular. We plan to achieve this by creating a branded experience in the erstwhile cottage/ unorganised industry. Today GO DESi's portfolio operates in Candies, Lollipops, Sweets and Mints sub-categories. Before GO DESi, I worked in the FMCG industry for 10+ years specifically in sales, distribution and marketing functions. Led sales team across rural and urban India; managed established brands @ ITC Foods like Sunfeast and led launches of various sub-brands. I was also fortunate to be a part of a pioneer social business model - E- Choupal where I was responsible for rural distribution and Choupal Saagar (rural hypermarket) projects. Currently intrigued by and interested in farming, food processing and supply chain technology which make independent farmer-owned micro units sustainable. Other myriad interests include behavioural economics, rock climbing and meditation.
