• Reporting into the CEO, was tasked with identifying and implementing high impact projects for increasing revenue, decreasing operating cost, improving operational excellence and building competitive advantage. Worked with senior business stakeholders to get multi-crore investment approved from GE/SBI board. Successfully drove the web & mobile penetration in customer acquisition, credit card operations, customer servicing and collections that helped reduce cost of operations and increase customer satisfaction.

• Reporting into the CIO, primary task was to keep the lights on and improve performance of IT operations comprising of several hundred IT applications, 700 servers, 500 network devices and 30,000 desktops serving over 20,000 employees across EMEA. Due to tight budget constraints and change management challenges, built and implemented a 3 year IT operations revamp strategy that took availability to 99.99%+ and significantly reduced response times. As governance leader, managed the IT operational budget of $50MM and oversaw investments to the tune of $30MM.

• Reporting into the CTO, was brought in to lead 200 person strong level 1 and level 2 IT helpdesk for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Was also asked to lead the consolidation of IT Infrastructure support for 3 separate businesses of Energy, Transportation and Aviation.

• Joined a 500 crore company and embraced the challenge to re-build the IT organisation and turning around its flailing ERP implementation. Lead the e-buy/e-make/e-sell projects for GE Plastics Europe.Developed and implemented IT and strategy for GE Plastics India. Built IT organisation from scratch to a team size of 12 full time employees and outsourced staff of 65. Successfully turned around a delayed ERP implementation.Designed, developed and implemented a real time global IT Dashboard, considered a best practice in GE.

• Joined GE from MBA campus in its Information Management Leadership Program (IMLP). As part of the program, worked on six months assignments; . Assignments included setting up IT shops, integrating IT teams across newly merged businesses, ensuring Y2K compliance of GE vendors globally and supporting Oracle Financials applications.
