I’m the founder of Puzzle Huddle, an educational toy company created to address gaps in representation for children of color. What began as a personal project—cutting puzzles by hand at my kitchen table—has grown into a nationally recognized brand, with features in outlets including Oprah’s Favorite Things, The New York Times, Forbes, Essence Magazine, and NPR. Puzzle Huddle is grounded in a clear mission: to affirm and inspire children through culturally inclusive puzzles that reflect their brilliance and potential. Our products center children who dream of becoming doctors, scientists, dancers, artists, and community leaders, and are designed to help families see learning, identity, and possibility as deeply connected. As the company has grown, I’ve led and executed a multi-channel digital strategy that expanded our audience across social media and email through targeted content, SEO, influencer collaborations, and storytelling rooted in education and community. I’ve also directed campaigns that combine educational content, customer stories, and partnerships with thought leaders to drive engagement and learning, while expanding retail distribution through national partners and independent bookstores. Alongside marketing and growth, I manage the full scope of business operations, including supply chain coordination, vendor relationships, and creative production. I hire and manage staff and work closely with freelance designers, illustrators, and video professionals to support brand storytelling and execution. Prior to founding Puzzle Huddle, I spent ten years as a Human Resources Business Partner at a global technology company, building strengths in communication, organizational development, and leadership that continue to shape how I run the business today.
