About

With over two decades of experience across provider and payer healthcare, I bring deep domain specialization in Medicare Advantage risk adjustment and value-based care. As a hands-on technologist, I drive product strategy, technical architecture, and execution—from initial concept through market delivery into production. At VBC Risk Analytics, I lead the design and delivery of Precise Health Risk Compass™—a modular healthcare risk data analytics platform purpose-built for value-based care. Our product suite includes MRRI (Medicare Risk & Revenue Intelligence) for multi-contract revenue modeling and downside risk simulation, RADV Audit Scrubber, Prospect360, and Retro360—architected on scalable, workflow-driven data platforms that empower providers to streamline Clinical Document Improvement (CDI) and risk adjustment workflows. I am a subject matter expert in Medicare risk adjustment analytics, a critical component of optimizing revenue for organizations serving populations covered by Medicare Advantage and other risk-bearing entities. RAF scores directly correlate with the financial health and operational efficiency of healthcare providers. My expertise spans risk modeling, revenue modeling, risk adjustment analytics, and a wide range of CDI use cases—enabling me to architect flexible, pluggable software solutions that address real-world operational challenges. Value-based care is driven by the risk profile of the patient population. To succeed in VBC, risk scoring must be embedded within every stage of risk adjustment and CDI workflows. It is critical to plan, measure, and continuously monitor these process steps in the unit of risk score. Our mission: we build products that proactively calculate risk scores at each workflow stage, enabling clients to identify and prioritize high-risk patients, uncover care gaps, and assist in closing them—thereby improving outcomes. I am actively involved in every stage of the product lifecycle, from concept development to go-to-market execution—aligning product features with business goals, optimizing user experience, and navigating market complexities to deliver impactful solutions. Throughout my career, I've been relentless in pursuing complex Medicare risk adjustment challenges, bringing innovation and automation to the forefront through scalable products. If you are looking to connect with someone who takes a holistic approach to risk analytics and can solve key issues in optimizing outcomes from risk adjustment and CDI, I’d be delighted to collaborate. • For Vee Tech, I built a highly skilled team to develop and deliver software products in Healthcare, Education, and Media using web, mobile, cloud, RPA, and AI/ML. Over 4-years, I established a new corporate Analytics and IT division with 300+ professionals, many of whom were outstanding first-generation college graduates from smaller towns.
  • My division delivered over 20 SAAS products, including a Medical Coding Assistance Platform to capture missed opportunities from medical charts and diagnostics reports (lab and radiology), a product called HireMee: an AI Powered Assessment and Hiring Platform, which conducts over 5 million job applicant assessments annually, and the Lecture Capture System, a product which is now used by more than 500,000 students every day.
  • In addition, I led the development and delivery of an innovative new Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platform. This work included founding an internal Center-of-Excellence for Robotic Process Automation (RPA), developing bots that automated over 70 healthcare business and accounting processes for Medical Coding, Explanation of Benefits, Payment Posting, Claims and Invoice Processing, Re-Pricing, and Media Tracking.
  • Regarding AI, I led Vee Technology’s effort to establish a Research & Innovation lab focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). Work in this lab resulted in advanced products for Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing (NLP), including Facial Detection AI, Data Extraction from invoices, Cardiac Nurse Training Simulation that can generate ECGs signal waves for 28 different arrhythmias, a Newspaper Article Content Extraction System, a new Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Engine for Medical charts, and software for converting 2D images (CT Scan & MRI scan) to 3D structural views of human body parts to assist with cancer detection and histopathology.
  • Overall, my efforts resulted in division’s achievement of CMMI Level 3 appraisal.
