About

Hi, I'm Jack. I help companies deliver on strategy, execution, and product development by building and leading comprehensive, data-focused digital practices. Currently I'm at Meta, helping them develop state of the art generative AI and translating that into products to benefit our 3B+ global users. I also consult and do speaking engagements for various Fortune 1000 companies as they work to figure out their path forward in this new era. At the same time I'm helping to guide the next wave of amazing talent as a professor in NYU's MBA program where I teach Retail Strategy & Analytics, Retail Math, and the History of Retail. Previously I was at Reddit, building out our Feeds and Search experiences, as well as Reddit's capabilities and practices in ML/AI, Data Science, and Data Platform. Prior to that at Jet.com (and then at Walmart after our acquisition) I focused on helping Customers have a wonderful, personalized experience while getting the products they need and love. In both cases we navigated explosive growth and built diverse, high performing teams. Further back, I co-founded Kinetic Social. Kinetic grew to be one of the largest companies in social media advertising and raised over $40M in funding in 3 years. As a result of our work there I was named one of Forbes "30 under 30" and was invited to join the Young Entrepreneurs Council I care deeply about my role in the global community and am an Advisory Board Member at Crisis Text Line and Code for Democracy and was a pro-bono strategic advisor for Empowerment Health. My diverse experience matched with an ability to communicate effectively in both words and data provides me with the ability to manage global teams on challenging projects, particularly those that focus on unstructured problems. Let me help you get real leverage out of data, for your customers, for your teams, and for your business -- it's what I love.
