An advocate for Design being an integral part of the product planning phase, I aim to fully participate and lead discussions that will allow the design discipline to have an equal part in establishing new features, influencing product road map, and positively impact the product vision. It is important for me to have fun at work and to cultivate an environment where the team is not only productive, but also happy. I have hands on experience practicing user-centered design, interface design and usability evaluations. My extensive experience and passion for Interaction Design results in emphasis on functionality, high attention to detail, and exceeding user expectation. A formal foundation in Visual Design complements my desire to create fun and easy to use products. I will always have the desire to grow as a designer, leading by example and contributing to the product design cycle in any way that provides a positive impact for my team and our users. I will always encourage my team to grow their skill sets and broaden their experience and design thinking through candid yet supportive dialogue. Over 17 years of professional and academic endeavors have garnered the trust and respect of my colleagues in both large and small environments. I am unable to do anything half way, I have the need to master and perfect all professional pursuits, and I do it all with a smile on my face.
