• Design, and development of a hosted distributed business process management solution that automates SAS-based marketing models for direct marketing customers. This web-based Java5 application is built upon the Spring Framework and uses key open source packages including; Quartz, OSWorkflow, Lucene, BeanShell, Jakarta Commons, XStream and Spring Modules. The application allows the user to develop arbitrary tasks that target any number of remote peer-to-peer brokers located across the Internet. This application allows a single marketing analyst to easily automate the entire analytic modeling process from receiving customer data, through ETL and finally processing and returning results.

• Work within a small team of engineers to design, develop and deploy custom web-based marketing close-loop campaign management applications. These Java1.4 applications employed Struts MVC, POJO's at the business tier, and Hibernate at the data tier. Further, was responsible for the design and development of custom e-commerce applications using the OfBiz framework to deliver closed-loop e-commerce/campaign management marketing applications.

• Lead the design and implementation effort for a custom web-based knowledge management system using the Microsoft .NET Framework (C#) and the Adaptive Process Model. This application consisted of authentication and authorization, full text search, XML daily news feeds, contact functionality and a document management system. In developing this system we replaced a legacy system and reduced the need for upwards of $70k in annual software licensing fees. Further, the hardware footprint was reduced from 5 to 2 servers.

• J2EE implementation on BEA Weblogic application server 5.1 to build a Web-based e-commerce application. Design and build server side Java POJOs, EJBs, JNDI objects and Servlets during the port of a PHP e-commerce application to all Java e-commerce application. Developed JSP tag libraries, RDBMS Realm authentication system and Implemented a reliable site-wide build and deployment system using Jakarta Ant.

• Develop drivers in C++ on a Solaris operating system to test Apache server modules. Design test scripts in Perl to unit test production CGI applications. Java development included an application load tool and error log parser to aid the engineering team in the issue management feedback loop. Responsible for the set-up and maintenance of the Perforce source control repository for the Lycos sites: Angelfire, Tripod, htmlGEAR and Tripod International.
