Currently working for Tata Capital - Cleantech Finance as Head of Strategy & Partnerships. Over a decade, I have worked on various segments in Indian cleantech sector including Solar PV, wind, storage, Electric Vehicles, Energy Efficiency, Green Buildings and Green Hydrogen. Having build deep knowledge in the cleantech, I am committed to doing my bit in the global fight and particularly Indian fight against climate change. I lead end-to-end fundraising efforts, for the cleantech and infra sectors, from reputed international and domestic investors. I also build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders in Cleantech segment. Additionally, I am responsible for driving strategy across cleantech and infra to identify emerging opportunities and forge strategic alliances for business growth. I oversee the Strategy and Policy Advisory, developing investment themes and stakeholder collaboration to shape joint initiatives. Further, I lead strategy and innovation for the cleantech finance business across the EV, Solar, Wind, Energy storage, Water, Waste, Smart Meter etc. I continuously scan the market for new technologies to identify new opportunities, and working with the business to bring these to market. Overall the work supports in sector deep dive, market potential analysis, financial and business modelling, credit appraisal, risk assessment and market strategy formulation. Previously I have worked with Bridge To India, Price Water House Coopers, J P Morgan and Adani Solar. I was a member of Task Force for 'Finance towards decarbonization of Steel Sector', formed by Ministry of Steel in 2024. I have been a visiting faculty at IIM Lucknow, TERI and IMT Ghaziabad and took sessions on financing of Indian cleantech space. I am a member of Institution’s Innovation Council at TERI. I was a member of advisory committee of USICEF for identifying the startups in cleantech segment who could receive grant. I have served as Jury for InterSolar Award competition for the best project in India for 2014 & 2015. I am an alumnus of IIT Kanpur class of 2008 (JEE rank 240). During my B. Tech project, I had worked on organic solar cells. I have completed MBA from IIM Ranchi in 2013 (CAT percentile: 99.62). I have been awarded the Director’s gold medal for outstanding all round performance and a silver medal for academics. I was the founding member of Consulting Club at IIM Ranchi, class representative of batch 2011-13 at IIM Ranchi, Senator of my batch at IIT Kanpur, and have won several accolades in extracurricular activities.
