Her ability to lead business strategy and drive culture transformation played a key role in Netflix’s ability to sustain unprecedented growth throughout her tenure. Beyond Netflix, Nazario-Cranz scaled and built out the core HR functions at Waymo, Cruise Automation, Bausch & Lomb and FedEx Kinko’s. She is known for creating and growing differentiated, high performing cultures that are anything but ordinary. Nazario-Cranz believes companies are most successful when they intentionally seek to improve their culture year over year; the status quo is never good enough. Nazario-Cranz is known as a trailblazer in the Silicon Valley and business world. She authored Netflix’s Unlimited Maternity & Paternity Leave and co-authored the company’s first culture deck, which Sheryl Sandberg describes as, “the most important document to ever come out of the [Silicon] Valley.” She also contributed to and co-authored Netflix’s most recent culture deck release. When not busy transforming cultures and driving global growth, you will find Nazario-Cranz spending time investing back in her community (she is part of numerous Silicon Valley venture capital firms), building out her family-owned vineyard (Nazario Ranch Vineyards) or hanging out with her daughter Maya and sons Ryan and Hayden.
