A veteran in the media and broadcast industry with over 30 years experience, 15 years in a C-Level role. I have worked extensively in South Asia with the set up of several award winning and market leading radio stations including Gen And JAK FM in Indonesia and AMSI and the Red Group In India. I served briefly as board member for Ad Rep in China and was instrumental in Astro Radio being the #1 Radio Broadcaster in Malaysia with over 80% share of Revenue . I helmed Rocketfuel Entertainment (under Astro) and turned around their Talent Division to make it profitable while managing Malaysia's biggest entertainment talents including Zizan Razak, Lisa Surihani etc. I have conceptualised and developed several award winning media, branding and marketing solutions for many clients in the Malaysian media industry and often works directly with clients from brainstorm stage to delivery After over two decades of helming Astro Radio and Rocketfuel Entertainment, I made the transition to the digital and fintech world in August 2019 joining s startup (Fave). I headed a boutique creative agency - Pyjama Media and in January 2021, decided to follow my passion of fitness and also broadcasting. Started a podcast called OJ chitchats with Oon Yeoh where we speak to interesting Malaysians on all aspects of the country. Then I joined Media Prima Audio as their Strategic Advisor to turn around their business I am well versed in branded content, social influencing, marketing, creative ideation and also speak regularly on leadership and motivation throughout Malaysia I believe in continuous learning and also to keep reinventing one's self to adapt in this fast paced world I also have a deep passion to motivate and help and I continuously am looking for ways to be of service
