About

Humans have always lived and worked in communities, bound together by shared purpose, mutual reliance, and the belief that we’re stronger together than apart. Work, at its best, still serves that same purpose. It's a modern expression of connection, contribution, and collective progress. As a Director of Human Resources, I see every workplace as its own kind of community. A living system that thrives when people feel seen, supported, and challenged to grow. My mission is to help organizations honor that human tradition while building for the future: using technology, strategy, and empathy to create workplaces that are efficient, transparent, and deeply human. Today, I serve as a Director of Human Resources, leading people strategy for a 150+ employee workforce across retail and eCommerce. My work spans the full HR spectrum, from compliance and benefits to culture, performance, and organizational planning. I’m also proud to serve as President of the Mt. Baker Chapter of SHRM, where I help support the professional development of HR leaders in our community. What drives me is the opportunity to solve complex problems with both empathy and clarity. I’ve led the transition to a self-insured benefits model (resulting in a 36% cost reduction), implemented an enterprise-wide HRIS to streamline onboarding and payroll, and served as executive sponsor for AI/ML software implementation to save thousands of operational hours. I’m an AI user and systems thinker who enjoys building sustainable frameworks whether it’s a policy, a process, or a people strategy. I believe technology should serve people, not replace them, and that progress happens when we design systems around trust, clarity, and collaboration. I’m also a firm believer in hands-on leadership: mentoring new managers, resolving challenges with fairness and integrity, and working side by side with cross-functional teams to move the business forward. At the end of the day, I thrive in spaces where people and strategy meet, where operational outcomes are rooted in strong relationships, thoughtful systems, and shared goals. The best workplaces aren’t just built, they’re cultivated one initiative, one team, and one empowered employee at a time. We do our best work and live our best lives when we’re part of something bigger than ourselves.
