• All the Technical maintenance works of a electric locomotive across Indian Railways are done in Zonal Loco-Sheds through out the country. To maintain a learning curve during COVID-19 lockdown. I have learned the four subsystems of the Locomotive maintenance like:
• 1. Electrical
• 2. Electronics
• 3. Mechanical
• 4. Nematics.
• Being an ECE student I concentrated more on electronics like IGBT power converters and Vehicle Control Unit(VCU) of the locomotive.I saw how troubleshooting and testing is done for locomotives VCU cards comprising input-output, Power, communication, interface cards.
