👋🏻 Hey, I’m Aghya (TL;DR? Just book a chat already, LFG) In August 2022, I stumbled into partnerships and never looked back 🚀 Before that? I was deep in marketing, getting my MBA, leading student councils, and somehow ending up as valedictorian (still a little shocked about that one). That chapter was all about learning how to build, connect, and navigate the unknown Turns out, that’s exactly what partnerships are about too!! Since then, I’ve worked with some incredible orgs and folk, when you’re at a startup, you do it all. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love creating content, communities, and partnerships that actually DRIVE REVENUE Not fluff, not ‘brand awareness,’ but real MONIESS. And if there’s one thing I want to see more of? PARTNERSHIP MANAGERS THINKING LIKE SALES REPS Just like how marketing became its own powerhouse, partnerships as a revenue function is next 📢 Anyways, What you’ll see from me here? Lots of ranting, calling things out and breaking down real life partnerships. Those aren’t hypotheticals they’re literally my everyday experiences. (Resemblance to any real people? Purely coincidental. (Or is it? 👀)) We all go through things. I just process mine by turning them into content 😆 Outside of work? You’ll probably find me pole dancing or practicing calisthenics (I like my hobbies as unpredictable as my job). Sundays are for F1 & yes, I post about it. Lately, I’ve been on a matcha kick and if you haven’t tried Hey tea’s Matcha Cloud, you’re missing out!!   • Who would have thought that a random Slack chat and a meetup would turn into a job that would define my career? ☕
  • → That's exactly what happened with Novo when Corinne Bartow decided to reach out
  • → TALK ABOUT THE POWER OF NETWORKING!
  • In a nutshell, I helped build our program from scratch. Literally, My typical day?
  • → 1-2 hrs hunting (potential partners)
  • → 1-2 hrs on partner calls
  • → 3-4 hrs of deep work (getting sh*t done)
  • → 1-2 hrs for stuff (team + security trainings, iykyk)
  • Anywho, I worked across 4 main areas
  • ✓ Accounting
  • ✓ Financial services
  • ✓ Vertical SaaS
  • ✓ Payments
  • This is where I REALLY got to understand what makes partnerships tick for small businesses
  • Some wins I'm super proud of
  • → Boosted partner engagement by 65% in just 3 months (not too shabby!)
  • → Brought in 10+ new partners and managed 4 top API partnerships that crushed it with 154% quarterly performance
  • Of course, it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows...
  • → I had a partner that was literally on the finish line and then the whole thing fell apart because product wasn't on board
  • → Another time, I was super passionate about a use case in the lending vertical that I just knew would work - but when we ran the tests, the numbers showed the LTV of those customers was too low. That stung.
  • These tough moments taught me that your gut can point you in a direction, but at the end of the day, numbers and hips don't lie!
  • This was a 5-day in-person role & tbh, our wednesday team lunches were the best. Also some of the most chill teammates I’ve ever had!
  • Here’s what I learned

  • → Getting buy-in for new ideas
  • This role really shaped me.
