• Played a key role in developing a software product to determine angular motion estimation and sense of motion detection of a randomly moving object using noncontact-based methods. Effect of depth in a 2D video source and reverse modeling into the 3D world by a stereo camera setup for effective real-world depth estimation.
• The product deduced the angular motion of a randomly moving satellite with an accuracy of 97.89% The model was made robust to effect of depth as grabbed by the video source and the angular motion analysis was carried out based on computer vision.
• This work was presented at the IEEE International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Computing Research( IEEE ICCIC) also winning the best paper award. The link to the paper is attached at the end.
• The real-world applications include 1) Detection of spacecraft tumbling detection and analysis; 2) Spacecraft docking in space
