  • I was healing through a tragic personal loss (through a divorce) of - stability, identity, base & finances. A loss of an identity as a wife. A loss of an identity as a future mother. A loss of a family. A loss of a community. A loss of an identity as a professional. And so you get the drift - a loss.
  • Grief(in any form) deserves to be spoken about and made acceptable across. I would never wish this upon anyone, but only those who have lost, would understand and I want to do my bit by speaking about it without any apprehension.
  • And so, while I rushed through the entire separation process(Apr 2022 onwards) putting up a "strong" front, I realized I needed to give this time to my body, mind and soul to recuperate from the loss.
  • I worked through this with the help of therapy, kind humans at work and otherwise and most importantly, with the help of MYSELF.
  • Looking back now, I see not just what I lost, but what I rebuilt. This chapter was about survival; today, it’s about growth. And the restart? It’s been worth it.
