Starting with an engineering degree and absolutely no experience in marketing was a daunting beginning, but with each passing day, I began to enjoy the world of customer growth and slowly started building a niche for myself. I started as a Digital Marketing Executive at DesignBids and learned the basics of Performance Marketing and paid Ads. This formed the foundation on which I moved to my next role, Senior Digital Marketing Executive at CloudxLab. This role presented the challenges of leadership, where I built my team, which began to put the organisation on the map. Here, I started handling the paid ads and social media verticals of the organisation alongside handling a few of the accounts of universities from the UK, Canada and India. I gained proficiency in collaborating with multiple stakeholders to determine audience interest and assist in developing strategic go-to-market plans that align with the company’s business priorities and initiatives. On my promotion to the role of a manager, I was the strategic partner for the key accounts of corporates (Intel, EXL, Dell, Fractal Analytics) and academia (DeMontfort University, NUS, Metro College, IIT Roorkee, REVA University) from the UK, the US, Canada, Singapore, Australia and India. This journey made me extremely passionate about commercial sales strategising, as well as implementing growth strategies and hacks in fast-paced and early-stage startups. It was time for me to bring this expertise into the IT services industry now. During my brief period at iOPEX Technologies, I utilised these skills to strategically build connections with senior executives and decision-makers from Fortune 500 giants. It helped me bring in a realised revenue of more than 8000 GBP in the short span of 5 months since my joining. I recently graduated from the University of Liverpool with an MBA with specialisation in branding and analytics. My master's thesis was on 'Assessing the Effectiveness of Social Media Influencers in Promoting Sustainable Fashion Consumption among Generation Z', which helped me delve deeper into customer psychology and social media behaviours.
