1. “Samsung Mall” – a price comparison commerce application that lets user discover products through image search, browse and keyword search.

Samsung Mall aggregates products across different e-commerce stores and makes it searchable. Users can compare prices across stores. Real time price is shown to the user. Users can build cart with items from different stores. Users can also checkout items in the cart.
The image search is performed using state-of-the art Deep learning system
2. Server based event aggregation and distribution platform (Open Calendar) for Samsung android phones.
Systems aggregates events from different providers and builds calendars. Users can subscribe to these calendars from the samsung calendar applications. For sports events, live score is provided. Continuos events are soft-linked for easy navigation.
Event aggregation is realised with sophisticated data processing pipeline using kafka. It was deployed in AWS.
3. “Cloud Accelerated Browsing”–SPDY and pgspd based proxy to save data and improve page load performance.
A proxy that is hosted in cloud that helps in browsing in low-bandwidth scenarios. The proxy reduces the bandwidth requirements by 40% and improves page load. System was tested for handling 60K incoming requests.
