Growing up and living in a village, I’ve seen firsthand how policies can either stay distant or become a force for transformation. This lived experience shaped my passion — to make governance more inclusive, impactful, and rooted in ground realities. Today, I am working as a consultant focusing on rural development, policy implementation, and strengthening local governance systems. Before this, I led the Sarpanch Samvaad initiative in Madhya Pradesh with the Quality Council of India — where I designed and facilitated training programs for village leaders, conducted grassroots assessments, developed intervention plans, and collaborated with CSR partners to drive positive change in rural communities. I’ve had the opportunity to document the inspiring journeys of transgender Sarpanchs, lead data-driven impact assessments, and contribute to the creation of scalable models for rural empowerment. My work is guided by one clear mission: to ensure that policy doesn’t just remain on paper — it reaches people, especially those in the last mile. Interestingly, I began my professional journey in the field of technology — as a computer science engineer working on web development projects. While that phase built my technical foundation and problem-solving mindset, it was my desire to solve real-world challenges that led me to shift from screens to the field. Now, I combine my grassroots perspective with a structured, analytical approach to contribute to meaningful development.
