• Worked as a Research Intern at NSUT under the supervision of Dr. Rashmi Chaudhry, contributing to the design and development of KInsight, a robust framework for masked face recognition.
• I was primarily responsible for designing the combination algorithm that integrated RetinaFace-based detection, ResNet100 for feature embedding, and a K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) classifier to improve recognition accuracy under occlusion conditions such as masks. I contributed to extensive experimentation, evaluation, and benchmarking of the model, which achieved 98.5% accuracy. The work was published in the Brazilian Archives of Biology and Technology (2024).

• I am the Co-Team Lead and a software member of Team GAGAN in the CanSat 2021. We have secured World Rank 2 amongst teams from top colleges around the world.
• The American Astronautical Society (AAS) & American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics (AIAA) organizes an annual student design-build-launch competition for space-related topics to teach space technology & let the students take their first steps in space. These are worthwhile as they do give students the satisfaction of end-to-end life cycle of a complex engineering project. It tests students’ analytical, creative, decision making, problem solving & collaborative skills besides their domain knowledge & expertise. It also calls for the utilisation of unique skills from different disciplines, which help to augment the multi-disciplinal skills of the contestants. The annual competition is open to teams from universities all over the world. Teams have to build a CanSat following the approved competition guide, and then compete.
