About

Recruiter with 12 in-house experience. Love partnering with hiring managers and the day to day recruiting experience. Love setting teams and people up to succeed. Started out as a lawyer, moved into recruitment due to my love of tech and video games. Since then, I’ve partnered with studios across Europe (AAA and indie), helping build teams from the ground up and filling roles from junior programmers to Heads of Tech and more. I’ve hired right across the development spectrum and into sales and marketing and other backend roles too. I’ve worked with names like EA, Unity, Lockwood, and multiple stealth-mode studios. Currently open to perm, long or short-term contracts or more strategic TA projects - equally happy as an individual contributor or taking more responsibility.

Talent Acquisition Consultant (Contract)

Jul 2024Present · 1 yr 10 mos · Remote

  • Since leaving EA and really due to the state of the industry (I’d prefer a permanent role) I have taken on a number of short term contracts, working at various European games studios. I’ve hired everything from junior AI programmers through to a Head of Technology role (the latter twice), and worked with business owners and hiring managers to help identify weaknesses in workforce planning and improve processes. Clients have included an AI studio based out of Portugal, a AAA Scandinavian studio, a gambling company looking for some short term help to move the needle with their recruitment team, and a British studio looking to build on its first successful title.

We want to hear from talented and passionate developers who can help us implement our incredibly exciting and ambitious road-map. As part of the team at Lockwood, you will enjoy a creative, challenging and collaborative environment where your ideas will be every bit as valued as your design expertise. Our working environment is extremely open, and all team members have complete access to any metrics they wish. We hold regular company-wide briefings to ensure team members and departments are aware of the direct impact their efforts have on the progress of the project. Best of all, because we believe team members deserve more than a pat on the back for their effort, we offer a bonus scheme that pays out 50% of any increase in record quarterly profits directly to the team.
