• In my current role, I lead one of the three verticals of Amazon Pay – Payments Experience, which aims to eliminate friction in customer’s payment journey and provide them with a world class paying experience.
• Involved in launching the proprietary wallet for Amazon (Amazon Pay Balance) and scaling it from ground up. Obsessing about the end customer experience and orienting the team to think product experience backwards. Owned and led the project to enable wallet top-ups to complete in fraction of seconds, ~12x decrease from the earlier baseline.
• Currently leading an org wide initiative to reduce developer effort by building Payments Experience as a standalone offering that could be leveraged by 8+ business lines within Amazon India. Responsible for designing the solution, leading its delivery and integration into key business lines.
• Detail Page
• Detail page platform team powers the product detail experience on Amazon retail. There are 100+ features that come together on the page and each of them owned by different teams across Amazon.
• Owned and delivered VP level goal of reducing the ops burden on the platform team by automatically assigning tickets to the feature team that caused regressions. Developed the strategy and prototype for the next gen decoupled development framework that would allow developers to build features with minimal code and without impacting other features on the page.

• Product Aggregator (PA) was a high throughput, low latency graph compute engine that performed runtime aggregation of data from 40+ backend services at Amazon, applied business rules on them and produced authoritative data for product information. PA had 650+ clients and 1000+ apis.
• I owned the end to end architecture and strategy for debottlenecking PA into a federated platform that would allow individual business teams at Amazon to build, test and deploy changes without being slowed down by a single team.
