• As core member of Risk development team, I contributed to the below projects:
• 1. Worked on building, refactoring and optimizing the infrastructure which does automated financial risk assessment on huge data sets.
• 2. Member of the core team that was involved in redesigning the Risk platform(DB design and service API design) which aimed at solving data duplication, data inconsistency, auditability like issues.
• 3. Reduced number of service calls by implementing hierarchical data structure supporting weighted portfolios. Statistics over this data structure are computed using proprietary server farm.
• 4. Came up with template based framework to calculate/persist the wide range of statistics that the Risk team vends out.
• 5.Have worked on improving the performance of the report by writing optimized queries leveraging indexing and dynamic SQL techniques.
• 6. Migrated web services to use distributed computing to support increased MC simulations to meet the SLA.
• 7. Implemented RESTful backend services for a web UI supporting ad hoc analysis of a portfolio for traders
