My dream is to inspire everyone to volunteer. Promoting volunteering is my passion. I strongly believe, if there are more volunteers, more good will happen in the world. I founded Team Everest (www.teameverest.ngo), a non profit organization to make this dream come true. As of now, we work with 25,000 volunteers, touching the lives of 40,000 children a year. My biggest strength is promoting volunteering, inspiring individuals to volunteer, build volunteering habits, building CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) from scratch and helping organisations (Schools, Colleges, Startups, SMBs & Corporates) to run their CSR initiatives & volunteering programs. I was the first employee to join the Cognizant Employee Volunteering team (Cognizant Outreach) along with my manager in Chennai when Cognizant launched CSR in Nov 2007.
It's just me and my manager to start with. We started everything from scratch. Slowly, we started building our CSR team. I travelled to many other Cognizant locations like Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Coimbatore etc to set up Outreach councils and promote employee volunteering.
During my stay in Cognizant, I worked on various initiatives like

My CSR experience in Cognizant gave me the confidence to quit my job and inspire many more companies, people to volunteer!
I quit my job on Dec 31, 2014, to promote volunteering across in India. During my stay, we enabled 40,000 employees to volunteer making a difference to 1,00,000+ children.
