  • 4. Demand Shaping towards marketplace needs and strategic objectives such as supply lock-in, higher revenue per order, better unit economics etc.
  • Defined these charters and set them up almost from scratch. Hired and grew the team to 8 PMs.
  • Highlights:
  • 1. Launched V1 of Food Knowledge Graph and User Taste profiling which would become the base for a lot of step jumps in search, listing logic, recommendations and personalisation over the years
  • 2. Significant Improvement in various experience metrics such as null search reduction, search & listing quality measured through improvements in MRR, NDGC etc, user satisfaction score with recommendations
  • 3. Growth & Efficiency - Transactions per user/month grew by 25% owing to all the improvements in search, listing logic and recommendations as measured by several A/B tests & hold out groups over time. There was lift in both conversion rate and repeat rate. Unit Economics improved by 15% as a result of demand shaping.
