About

I joined India's largest biopharmaceutical company in 2010 and leveraged my skills to forecast sales and plan inventories. I then went on to work on formalizing supply chain processes, managing international B2B sales, and leading a product category for them. Four years later, I joined a young ecommerce firm and led a team managing the books category. I managed product development, P&L, selection, promotion, pricing, and seller enablement with an aim to maximize customer satisfaction. I then spent half a decade working for an American chain of department stores. I led their hyperlocal eCommerce efforts with a focus on new business development and worked closely with the leadership team to identify and implement solutions to improve profitability. I joined an ambitious tech startup in December 2021 and worked towards minimizing the experience gap between online and offline shopping. Over 18 months, I worked with and assisted the young and super smart team with recruiting, business planning, sales management, and customer relationship management. My most recent gig has been with India’s largest media and entertainment company where I am helping fashion/lifestyle, ecommerce, and gaming brands to leverage content for taking their brand story to their consumers. I had earlier set up a new business vertical to evangelize television as a medium to scale for digital-first brands. I’ve worked at the crossroads of strategy, monetization, and brand storytelling, helping organizations answer 1. How can content directly drive commerce outcomes 2. What media mix delivers the highest ROI for a D2C brand 3. How can traditional platforms be reimagined for digital-first marketers I am passionate about Indian tech and startup space and I mentor young founders and ecommerce entrepreneurs, helping them scale smarter. If you’re exploring how content can drive commerce; or simply want to swap ideas on the future of retail, feel free to connect.
