That stage taught me disciplined assessment, succession thinking, and how senior hires alter strategy and culture at scale. A defining, hands-on chapter was at Cuemath — a google and Sequoia-backed startup — where I lived hardcore sales, demand generation, and everything a start-up asks of you. It was an intense, short stint that drilled execution into my bones and, more importantly, helped me discover my passion for people and talent. That period taught me how strategy converts to revenue on the ground and why learning-by-doing matters more than theory. My journey began at EMA Partners, when executive search in India was still nascent. From day zero I worked on senior leadership assignments, learning to evaluate judgment, culture fit, and leadership depth — foundations that still guide my work today. I’m a mentor, DE&I advocate, and speaker — curious about how AI and people analytics will shape the next decade of leadership. For me, talent isn’t transactional; it’s strategic.
