Mehul Aswar — Product Manager
I didn't start my career wanting to manage products. I started by wanting to build things that actually work, understand why users struggle, and fix that gap. I began on the engineering side, working close to systems like payments, identity, and compliance areas where mistakes are expensive and trust matters. That experience shaped how I think about product today. I still like to go deep, understand constraints, and make decisions that balance user experience, system reliability, and long-term scale. As I moved into product roles, I started owning problems end to end. I've worked across different modules - payments, compliance, onboarding flows, platform systems, and growth-led features often taking ideas from zero to launch. I enjoy operating in ambiguity, making trade-offs, and bringing clarity when the path isn't obvious. Today, I work as a Product Manager at India Crypto Research, where my focus is on a problem I care deeply about: helping people move away from hype-driven crypto decisions and toward fundamental, long-term thinking. A lot of people enter crypto without understanding what they're investing in. My work is centered on building products and experiences that educate, guide, and simplify, whether that's through better product flows, clearer information design, community-led learning, or growth initiatives that focus on awareness rather than noise. Alongside product execution, I've spent a lot of time working on growth - as a product function, SEO-led discovery, content structure, community building, events, and experiments that help the right users find the product at the right time. I enjoy thinking about how products grow naturally when they solve real problems in the right way. I've also been part of the builder ecosystem for years through hackathons and community initiatives, often leading teams under tight timelines. Those experiences taught me ownership, speed, and how to ship even when everything isn't perfect. At the core, I am passionate about Product, Web3, Tech, Growth Marketing especially where technology, user behavior, and education intersect. Happy to talk about building products from scratch, Technical trade-offs, Growth & Marketing, Web3 adoption, or what I've learned while shipping real systems.
