• Young Indians (Yi) is an initiative of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to create a platform for young Indians to realize the dreams of a developed nation. Yi has over 8000 direct members in 67 city chapters and engages another 1,00,000+ members through YUVA.
• With a vision to influence, inspire and motivate millions of students across the country who are the pillars of India's progression, Yi started its "YUVA" Platform, through which it envisions connecting students to the community, the corporate CEO's and the country at large, working towards a movement for "Nation Building".
• Yi has established over 110 YUVA in schools and colleges across the country and each such YUVA is mentored by Yi members. Yi nurtures and supports the YUVA by helping students get a taste of mainstream life and giving them a platform to work on leadership and nation-building initiatives. The planning and implementation of the agenda for Yi YUVA for the year are done by the students of the institution in consultation with the Yi member who will mentor the YUVA.
• Pursuant to these objectives, the YUVA vertical of Yi Pune is in the process of organizing various development tools that will enable students to differentiate themselves. These tools include :
• 1. Lectures - By young entrepreneurs, respected visionaries, on topics crucial to the growth of a student.
• 2. Internships - In the fields of finance, management, marketing, media, engineering, IT, architecture, etc.
• 3. Company visits - To startups and established companies.
• 4. Competitions - 'Including the Business Plan Competition' giving students real experience of making and presenting business plans to industry leaders.
• 5. Social Causes - Taking up the National initiative of 'Swacch Bharat', 'Teach for India' and Yi's 'Horn Not OK Please' Campaign.

• JIIF is a platform for JITO members that gives firsthand access to the Indian and global startup ecosystem. JITO‘s Incubation and Angel Network Arm focuses on fostering entrepreneurship. JIIF has completed 6 years and now has an active member base of 750+ Jain investors from JITO Network. In total JIIF has invested upwards of Rs. 250 crores in 80+ early stage companies ( Jains & Non-Jains) and incubated 50 Jain Founder start-ups.
• As Vice Chairman at Jito JIIF, my primary responsibility lies in overseeing membership growth and activation efforts, particularly within the startup ecosystem. I work closely with potential members to attract new entrepreneurs, investors, and mentors who can benefit from and contribute to the JIIF network. This includes strategic outreach, organizing events, and fostering connections that strengthen the startup ecosystem. By aligning with the vision of JIIF, I ensure that we are creating a supportive environment for startups to thrive.
• In terms of zone activation, I focus on implementing localized strategies that cater to the unique needs of startup communities across different regions. This involves creating awareness about JIIF’s offerings, identifying key opportunities for collaboration, and facilitating partnerships within the ecosystem. My role also includes engaging with various stakeholders—mentors, industry leaders, and government bodies—to ensure that our zone activities are impactful and sustainable, fostering an environment conducive to startup growth and innovation.

• We at Striiling believe and have come to understand that women in the workforce are fewer in recent times, when we researched further we learnt that there were several factors that caused this, one of them being fewer women role models and lack of motivation and support from spouses and other family members.
• Women join the workforce in equal number especially after graduation and post graduation but after a few years these numbers diminish, due to several social reasons.
• Via our initiative of the Striiling talks we wish to talk about the benefits of financial freedom discussed by a women whom they can see as role model and the awakening in the men by conversation by a man whose wife is a working woman and who lives the example.
• We want to be able to have this conversation with all gender and across the age group from 12 onwards. We wish to be positive and always hopeful of making this endeavour successful, even if we succeed in making 1 women stay back in the workforce we would feel content that we have been able to make the difference.
