• My task here was to identify a suitable API Gateway for the company, customize it according to our needs and implement it from scratch. Did POCs on available options and decided to go ahead with Kong and then extended and customized the existing OSS framework by developing several plugins, creating the company’s base to construct something similar to Google Workplace API structure for third-party developers.
• Long story short, we are now running Kong in production in myKaarma and can successfully authorize, authenticate, rate limit, cache, IP restrict, analyze, and create monitoring dashboards of usage of our APIs.

• Developed several high-impact functionalities on Scaler’s mentor-tech platform along with improving many previous ones. All these developments were done along with continuous collection and in-depth analysis of user feedback which resulted in the enhancement of the product’s NPS ratings.
