As an experience design consultant and mentor, I have been blurring the boundaries between the digital world and the physical world for over 24 years. I have created innovative strategies and solutions that enhance user experience, customer experience, and service design across multiple channels and platforms. Recently, I was a principal (experience design) at Microsoft, where I directed experience design projects and defined strategy for transformation and innovation initiatives. I conducted product envisioning and rapid prototyping workshops with senior executives, using design thinking and design sprint methods. I also evangelized design frameworks, processes, and execution methods, and hired and mentored a UX team. I have authored and presented papers and articles on UX integration, usability testing, and received multiple awards for my work. I have worked with diverse users and stakeholders in various countries, and represented my organizations in national and international industry forums. My specialties include user research, human-computer interaction, usage centered design, interaction design and implementation. My passion is to understand usage patterns and to design experiences that make a difference.
